The Old Bedford is a Shallow Drain famous for its Big Pike in the 70's and 80's, though some Big Zander have been produced in the Mid 80's til present day.   Location is a bit tough, as there are very few access points.   Best Zander 15lb 15oz by N J Fickling in 1987, width 25 yards and depth no more than 7ft.

The River Delph is a typical low land drain, 25 yards wide with a depth between 12ft and 22ft (welney pool).   Mixed fishery with Carp to 30lb, Pike to 30lb, Zander to 16lb, Bream and Tench over 6lb, Roach, Rudd and Perch over 2lb.
