The Avon flows through Shakespeares countryside and joins the River Severn nr Tewksbury. Has produced some Big Zander in the last 10 years. Matt Hayes and Mick Brown have made a few Fishing shows on the river and produced zander to baits and lures. One of the biggest zander to come from the river is over 17lb. Lots of boats on the river and plenty of sluices, mills and weirs. Width 40-50 yards and depth up to 22ft.
